What is the GSM PLUS Battery mobile motor starter?
GSM PLUS Battery is a Kewintech controller for remote operation of compatible three-phase pump and motor starter setups. It provides supported GSM control, status, protection and battery-backup functions.
How do I start or stop my pump using a mobile phone?
After the SIM, authorised users and starter connections are configured, use the call, IVRS or SMS functions supported by the supplied controller. Use the instructions and commands in its firmware-specific manual.
Does remote pump control require Wi-Fi?
GSM call and SMS functions use a compatible mobile network rather than farm-site Wi-Fi. Confirm SIM compatibility and reliable mobile coverage at the installation site.
How do I choose the correct motor HP and starter type?
Select your motor HP and existing starter type, then share the motor nameplate and starter photo with Kewintech. The HP selector records your requirement; it does not by itself confirm the correct CT, wiring or protection configuration.
Can GSM PLUS Battery help protect against dry run and voltage faults?
The listed functions include supported dry-run, overload and voltage-related protection. Confirm the exact functions and trip settings for your controller before installation; protection depends on correct sensing, wiring and configuration.
Will it work with my existing starter?
Compatibility depends on starter wiring, motor current and CT arrangement. Share your starter photo and rating with Kewintech before ordering.
How is the product installed?
Kewintech provides installation guidance and support for connecting the controller to a compatible starter, using the wiring diagram supplied with your unit.
Can I use it with a single-phase, two-phase or solar pump?
This GSM PLUS Battery model is for three-phase motors. Use the selector to find the separate single-phase, two-phase or solar product page.
Will the battery run my pump during a power cut?
No. The backup supports controller status and communication functions; it does not supply motor power.
